These panda poses were concepted for approval by the client, as well as for use by the molding and casting company. Several different shapes were researched and proposed, and these were the final 5 poses approved and produced. 30 pandas total, ranging from 2'-5' tall, were displayed inside the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, including inside the lobby around the iconic MGM lion and in the gift shop as shown. They were displayed for Chinese New Years 2018 and 2019. Panda bear shapes were intentionally 'gummy bear' simplistic and created using 3ds Max.
I also drew the structures on which the pandas sit, created the red graphics printed on gold vinyl that are applied to those structures, and created all graphic signage around the MGM using SketchUp/AutoCAD and Illustrator, respectively.
